Sushi in Japan
One of the most well-known and iconic Japanese foods worldwide is sushi. It occurs in a variety of forms and has a lengthy and rich history in Japanese cuisine.
1.Nigiri Sushi: The most popular and traditional kind of sushi is nigirizushi. It is made out of tiny, manually formed mounds of rice that has been vinegared and topped with different toppings. Raw fish (sashimi), cooked seafood, and other foods like egg omelets (tamago) are typical toppings. Nigiri sushi is usually eaten with soy sauce and pickled ginger, and it's commonly presented with a tiny bit of wasabi (Japanese horseradish) between the rice and the topping.
2.Maki Sushi: Sushi that has been rolled into cylinders is known as maki sushi. Usually, rice is wrapped in a sheet of nori (seaweed) along with a variety of toppings, including fish, veggies, and sauces. Maki sushi is frequently served with wasabi and soy sauce and can be chopped into bite-sized pieces.
